In connection to the main conference we will arrange a pre-conference opportunity for promising contributions and research in progress works. This occasion will take place at Karlstad University on Sunday 14 August the day before the main conference. The papers of the pre-conference will be published in the official scientific publications from Karlstad University Press. The purpose of the pre-conference is to promote and support researchers in their professional careers. We will have a best papers award appointment opportunity. The three best papers will be offered to join the main ISD’2005 conference and published in the Kluwer/Springer volume.

Transportation to the university

Transportation from the City Centre to the University Campus is available by taxi or by buss. The buss leaves the Town square every hour, starting at 10.00 AM (Buss nr. 35) and every half hour, starting at 09.30 AM (Buss nr. 31). The fee is SEK 17:-

Transportation from the airport and the train station

The only transportation available from and to the airport is by taxi. If sharing a taxi (four persons) to the City Centre or the University Campus will cost around SEK 250:-

The train station is close to the hotels.

Lunch

Due to the weekend it will be difficult to buy any lunch at the University Campus on the 14th of August. We recommend the delegates to eat lunch before arriving to the university for the Pre-conference.
